Daniel Pearson is a singer/Songwriter from Leeds. Having 'paid his dues'on the circuit for over 10 years he set up his own record label, Saint in the City and released the album satellites contain 10 of his own compositions. He has supported many bands along the way including Wild Beasts, The Bluetones and Travis (well 2 out of 3 aint bad).
Daniel claims that his music is indie/folk/powerpop (powerpop?) and someone has said that the songs were 'halfway between Ryan Adams and Elliott Smith', which I think is a fair description.
The music is good stuff and in a fair world, Daniel would be getting recognition and recompence for his obvious talent. Sadly there are hundreds of similar people out there and short of winning Britain's Got Talent will struggle to rise above the rest.
