No Regime is an Alternative Punk Rock band formed in early 2009 in Los Angeles, CA that embraces ska, reggae and latin music in their songs and focuses on social life and political issues.
No Regime started to perform actively in Southern California after recording their first demo. One of the songs from this demo “Anguish” was featured on the Urban Shit Records compilation and also on a UCLA Unsigned Bands compilation.
In February 2010, their first EP was released featuring 6 songs. This EP was made available to download for free via their myspace page. The song "Anguish" was selected to be part of the “Jane’s Addiction: In the Studio” Book Bonus Sampler released by Rock n’ Roll Books.
In March 2010, vocalist Jason Rea entered the band replacing Jake Yoshizaki. During the summer of 2010, the band shot their first music video for the song “Anguish” in Los Angeles, CA. In August 2010, No Regime was a semifinalist in a Hard Rock Café competition in Las Vegas, NV, after defeating more than 20 national bands. The band has been performing at a variety of venues and events: the Quiet Rebel Film Fundraiser, organized by a film production company based in Los Angeles, the famous Etnies Skate Park in Orange County, and the "Best Rock Night in Hollywood" according to the LA Times at Cinespace, just to name a few.
During the first months of 2011 they produced their latest 5-song EP "As the World Implodes", released in early April 2011. The album is a combination of new tracks and improved versions of older material. The song that has been getting the most attention is the track "Stand Up For The Weak".
