Allan's Grand Day Out is a new two-piece indie/alternative band from South London. Members Zoë Klinck and Bryn White first met at Wimbledon Arts College, and have been creating their unique brand of melodic, electronic, alternative pop ever since.

Their debut E.P., entitled "Maastricht", has now been released and is completely free to download from here for a limited time. There's a nice balance between the acoustic guitars, electronic sounds and Zoe's haunting voice. Panada Tears in particular is a beautiful track which appears to be have been inspired by Four Tet, one of their acknowledged influences.

It's well worth downloading and I have already added them to my list of artists to watch out for in 2011

If you're lucky enough to be at the Edinburgh fringe you can catch them at the Underbelly on the 5th August.
