Fans of Blood in Venice, rejoice! They’ve hit the studio again to release a brand new E.P entitled ‘The Dancefloor Assassin’ for your listening pleasure. If you’re wondering ‘who are Blood in Venice and why do they want to fill the water ways of Venice with blood?’, then keep reading.
The band, featuring the talents of Matt, Alex and Guf, don’t want to fill Venice with blood at all, instead they want to fill your ears with sweet beautiful music. If you listen to their back catalogue, you can expect just that from this Danish / Italian modern pop rock band. With songs like ‘The Apocalypse Show’ and ‘Day After Day’, we’re hoping for a strong vocal arrangement, rocky but pop friendly guitar riffs and epic drumming from the new E.P. Everything we’ve come to know and love about Blood in Venice.
The band itself states: "The new EP is definitely a big step forward compared to the last one (Let the Drama Begin, released Feb 2012). The song writing, the sound, the arrangements, and the looks - we worked hard to improve every aspect of the band. We are very confident that these songs will turn some heads, lift some eyebrows and move some feet. Watch out, as you might be the next victim of the Dancefloor Assassin."
For an unsigned band, they’re definitely making some serious movements in the music world. They’ve only been around since 2010 but the buzz surrounding this band is unquantifiable at the moment and we’re super excited to get our hands on this E.P. I honestly think 4 tracks will not be enough to fill the craving Blood in Venice will have left behind. You’ll be demanding an album from them, of that I’m sure.
If you’re fans of Muse, Placebo, 30 Seconds to Mars or Panic! at the Disco, you’re going to love the style Blood in Venice have to offer. As soon as this E.P hits the shelves you’re going to want to bag it ASAP!
