We all know Argentina is famous for their excellent Footballers (don't mention 'The Hand of God') but musically their only claim to fame is the Tango. Well all this could be about to change with an excellent indie band called 'The New Beans' (still with a football connection). They have produced a great self-titled indie/rock album and what's more they are giving it away for free.
The New Beans are from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Formed in 2010, The band is named after Velez Sarsfield's football player Fabian "poroto (spanish of bean)" Cubero, who is one of Ignacio's idols.
They claim their influences are :- The Killers, MGMT, Pony Pony Run Run, The Kooks, Death Cab For Cutie, Carolina Liar, The Strokes, Athlete, Dirty Vegas, Oasis, Hard-Fi, The Verve.
