It’s Called Heartache (Sky Mix) - this song is a really vast upbeat Club/Dance tune. A pleasant remix of a track done by kinky dove. Would be an ideal song if you need to get moving! It helps to keep everything all brand new and stem out to more listeners. The singing provides a great cover over the Club/Dance beat. The production is definitely the main pull in this song.
Another Girl – It is quite a cheerful track. There are two singers in the song and they both provide diverse vocals. The girl having a melodious voice and the man’s who in which has low lively voice. The drum and guitar riffs are outstanding in this song. As well as the vocals being immense going with the beat of the song really well.
Some Kind Of Fool – This song is a tad slower then the earlier song and speeds up a fragment for the chorus. The drum beat is grand, has really high-quality rhythm with this track and the guitar and drum go together like a couple. This song has again a truly first-class guitar riff and difference between the two singers.
To bring to a close kinky dove’s self titled EP is an in fact a superb EP which has great contrast between the female singer and the male one. Whether or not if there is any additional remix’s in the future from kinky dove, it helps to widen their audience. Really huge EP a have got to have this June the 15th.
“Jason Statham” is the new tune from Men With Ven set to roll out the 1st of June on iTunes. Just a few days before Jason Statham’s new movie spy. This could serve as a great official track for a tribute! It has the potential to be just that, but if not it still serves as a perfect unofficial tribute! If the tribute does get out to Jason Statham then you will have no trouble in seeing Men With Ven glide to the top of the charts!
Check out the video (Without a feature from Jason Statham just yet) here:
Vida have a unique sound which has been compared to the likes of; Arctic monkeys, The Black Keys and Oasis. Having being compared to the best of the genre, they are really gaining reputation. They were also handpicked to play XFM’s this feeling shows several times. With array of really nice guitar riffs, nice drum rhythm and melodies. It’s not hard to see why! Vida are definitely a UK band to watch this year. The double track is scheduled for release June the 15th
Yeti love is a duo with great song writing and really unique music influences. With one half of the duo (Hamilton) being influenced by his own ancestry being half Spanish. A big influence for him was the folk traditions at his hometown Galicia. As well as his rhythm influence being from Celtic roots music. And you can see that from their new single “Lonely Road” out June the 15th and it is a must get for people who would like to try new unique music with a hybrid mix of “alt-rogue-folk-rock”!Links:
Berenice Scott’s new single ‘Walls Cave In’ has a sweet blend of piano and delicate vocals that match perfectly together to create a debut single that could beat the drum for arrival of a major talent. With a sad tone to the lyrics this works well with the catchy chorus, this track is set to turn heads in the music industry; the fluid level of quality of the production, chorus and vocals leaves us weak at the knees!Links:
Overboard – Is the first song of the EP. And is a happy sort of song. This is mostly due to the melody from the vocals. The lyrics are also good in this song. The instruments make it a upbeat rhythm for the vocals to layer over.
Heartracer – A nice melody and harmony on this track. Nice upbeat rhythm to it. This song has song has strong vocals with a lot of general passion in this song in terms of vocals and instruments. It also had a video out on Youtube here:
Summer Gold – Has a great melody and is the main song on the EP. The lyrics really help to create help the melody as well of course the vocals. The instruments create a slower rhythm in this song for everything else to follow.
Ice On The Streets – The instruments and vocals in this song create a really nostalgic vibe to them. The vocals are great in this song giving it motivating feel to it. It is also the only song in the EP that includes a guitar solo in it.
Open Door – The last track of the album, the song has tension sort of feel created by the instruments. The rhythm is also quite fast paced throughout this track. The vocals are strong as well as the lyrics.
To conclude the EP – Summer Gold EP is a great EP which has some great melodies and harmonies that help to create a nostalgic sound. After their previous album, this album is highly anticipated and we could easily see it climb its way up the charts.
EDM Pop making its way overseas from Ukraine to hit the UK. In their native country (Ukraine) they have acquired best album and best single at the yuna awards and they are aiming to do the same in the UK. With there being such a big EDM pop following the UK it is highly possible for them to do just that. Making “Strange Moves” Highly Anticipated single this year! The production is really smooth and crisp given the fact they are independent in Ukraine. The production is world class level and The HardKiss show no signs of not improving! Strange Moves is a must have this year! Out 18th Of June in the UK!
Dalimore are drifting “ Higher ” up with new single! With the determination and devotion the duo put in you won’t see them go anywhere else apart from up! A lot of their songs will be about self improvement and working hard so there is definitely a good meaning behind their music! And the single is no different being a motivating song. The duo definitely has different influences, you can tell by the creative genre blending they implement as a duo! The visuals for their new single will be out May the 1st while the release for the single will be out May the 11th.
A homecoming heart – is the first song and a nice calming slow start to the album. With the instruments creating that soothing, calming feel along with the vocals of course. The lyrics are good as well as the vocals being really strong and melodically.
The ascending Light – Is again a really soothing song with a really nice melody being played on the instruments and the melodic vocals. The lyrics are also really melodic in this track
Sunday Morning Song – A really nice melodic song about his usual Sunday morning routine. The trumpet is especially really soothing in this song, this is one of my favourite songs of the album easily. It is also quite slow paced but that just helps to convey more emotion in this song.
The King Is Dead – Really nice lyrics is this song, again has really nice melodic vocals. Along with the melodies created on the guitar. A motivating song about holding on (Sticking through something till the end).
Freedom – Is a bit more upbeat then the rest of the songs so far, but it still keeps its melodic vocals and melodies from the instrument. Really moving and soothing track.
Your Love Is A Weapon – The trumpet comes back to introduce this song, and is another slow paced song on the album. The guitar is really melodic and soothing in this track and helps to create rhythm throughout this song. Along with the vocals it creates a really nice melodic song.
One Step Closer – A really calming nice song, this song is so melodic with the melody played on the guitar, and the vocals you almost get lost in this song. Then it starts to pick up the pace a bit towards the end. With a bit more energy could be reference to how close he is getting to love meaning towards the end of the song he is closest.
I Am An Eagle – The only track in album to feature a choir. The lyrics in this song a really good allowing you to visualise them easily. There is no guitar in this song and the rhythm and melody is done by a piano in this song. But again that doesn’t change the amazing melodic vocals.
The Light Of The Moon – Probably the slowest song in the album. But is really soothing and melodic like most of his tracks. A really nice song to say farewell to the listener/Listeners.
Overall The Shamans call is a really soothing and calming song, this is done by the array of melodic vocals he includes in all his song. The melodies being played on an array of instruments. The Shamans Call is set to debut 15th Of June
A great new single from Adam Hear the Sea about not just running away from your feelings of “Sorrow” but rather feel it right up until it passes. His early demos got a lot of support from radios such as; BBC Music 6 and BBC London radio making his single highly anticipated this year! Adam Hear the Sea has nice abstract smooth lyrics, strong voice and great production which could carry him nowhere else but upwards in the music industries! A must get this June the 1st!Links:

With a lot of experience under his belt in the last year from; Glastonbury Festival, Manchester’s Whisky Sessions festival and a forty date tour of the UK as main tour support to John Bramwell who describes Fidler as “absolutely brilliant”. You can tell he’s no rookie! He also runs a music school and charity on the side of touring. Music is his passion and you can tell from the single. It has a really nice feel to it and the harmonica is a nice change giving it a soothing sound to it alongside the guitar. His song writing is also really good. The EP will be out 1st Of June so have your eye’s pealed then!

Peter Pan, the timeless story by J.M. Barrie which has entered into folklore through countless iterations and adaptations, is finally set for the UK operatic stage thanks to the Welsh National Opera. Starring the award winning vocals of Iestyn Morris in the title role, the innovative staging and production of the traditional tale by Olivier Award winning director Kieth Warner, who has worked closely with British composer Richard Ayres and librettist Lavinia Greenlaw, represents a faithful but original adaptation of the classic story.
Positioned as a genuine route for youngsters into Opera, the star of a show of this magnitude has to be a perfect fit – one found in the inimitable talents of Iestyn Morris.
A former winner of the Tracey Chadwell Award for contemporary song and also winner of the Patricia Routledge National English Song Competition, Morris has performed at the top level from a young age. His reputation within the industry is such that he was specially invited to return to the latter for its centenary, as a member of the prestigious judging panel.
Enjoying a career that has seen him perform throughout Europe at some of the most revered venues in the world, Iestyn Morris, who created the role giving its world premiere in Stuttgart, is hugely excited to be recreating such a well-loved character, this time in a new co-production between WNO and Komische Oper Berlin, in what will be the UK English language premiere. In London alone Morris has appeared at Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall, as well as in recital at various locations across the capital, including concerts with The King’s Consort. Now, with ‘Peter Pan’ set to take flight once more in Morris’ capable hands, it marks the latest chapter in a stellar career.
This journey has seen Iestyn Morris perform with some of the most exciting and challenging roles in the Opera world (see below for credited highlights), and will now see him step into the magical world of J.M. Barrie’s Neverland as the iconic Peter Pan. It’s a spectacle not to be missed.
Iestyn Morris career highlights: In opera, Iestyn Morris performed Pisandro and Human Frailty IL RITORNO D’ULISSE and Ferdinand DUCHESS OF MALFI for English National Opera, Pleasure in Gerald Barry’s THE TRIUMPH OF BEAUTY AND DECEIT for Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Ferdinand in the new production of Torsten Rasch’s DUCHESS OF MALFI at the Städtische Theater, Chemnitz, Medoro ORLANDO FURIOSO for Theater Basel, title role in the world premiere of Richard Ayres’ PETER PAN and the world première of Jennifer Walshe’s DIE TAKTIK for Staatstheater Stuttgart, HERCULES for De Nederlandse Opera in Amsterdam, the world premières of HOTEL DE PEKIN (the role of Anzi) and WAKE (Tom Boxer) for Nationale Reisopera, Anzi HOTEL DE PEKIN at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, Alessandro TOLOMEO, Spirit DIDO AND AENEAS, Shepherd ORFEO and Historicus in Carissimi’s JEPHTE for English Touring Opera, Troll Princess EAST O’THE MOON & WEST O’THE SUN for Tete-a-tete, THE DEATH BY FIRE OF GIORDANO BRUNO for Heresy Records on tour in Ireland, the title role in the English language premiere of Jonathan Dove’s THE LITTLE GREEN SWALLOW for the GSM&D and Max Labouchère in Roger Scruton’s VIOLET for Guildhall Theatre Opera,

The first is Wise Water , Is really up beat and has a catchy electric guitar riff. As well as the drum beat also being catchy, has quite an old school feel to it for rock of its genre. Really nice intro to “Halfway Home”
Next Song is Waste My Time , The vocals are very good and strong in this track as well as catchy, and the guitar riff is also really catchy. The drum beat in this track helps to make everything flow together in this track.
New Day starts off a bit more slowly paced compared to the previous tracks, and soon picks up pace when the chorus drops. The lyrics and vocals are the main piece in this song but the guitar and drum back the vocals up as well as there also being a guitar solo to end the song.
Half Way Home probably one of the slowest tracks in the album as well as being the main one. Only again, switch up pace at the chorus. The guitar is really good in this song again having a really nice solo to it.
Motherload has a really great guitar riff, nice rhythm on the drums and strong vocals and lyrics to round this song off. The chorus is catchy and rounds off the track towards the end.
Preacher starts of slow paced again, but soon jumps up as soon as the chorus is dropped. The vocals and lyrics are what lead this song. As well as the guitar providing mesmerizing riffs throughout.
Something Someone is the slowest pace song in the album, but it conveys a lot through the vocals and lyrics in terms of emotions. The guitar solo is also mesmerizing.
Sweet Little Secret: the guitar and drum as well as the vocals being very strong on this track. The chorus is also very catchy but is slower then other chorus’s in this album.
No Excuse starts of slower paced then the majority of the tracks in this album, but like “Something Someone” there is a lot of emotion in the vocals and lyrics. But starts to pick up pace roughly about half way through the track.
Good on Me is definitely more upbeat, and has a catchy chorus and guitar riff. The drum helps to keep rhythm and set the pace in this song.
Words I Never Said : The vocals are strong in this song and it would need to be being the last song. Nice song to round of a highly anticipated album.
To conclude Bad Touch “Half Way Home” Is a really good album, which has an old school feel in terms of the melodic riffs along with the vocals and drums.Links:

Brought to life by the animation skills of World renowned Superstar Pets, Herbie Hound is a new animated series following the adventures of adorable Herbie – a French breed of pup with a British upbringing whose very special character ‘specialness’ comes out when things get exciting!
Superstar Pets, have previously worked on animations for BBC Children in Need, Simon Cowell and Michael Ball among others. They are the only company in the World who create movies using this animation technique, using the unique approach of animating photos to talk and sing, lending an extra layer of charm to Herbie Hound’s adventures.
The series is the brainchild of Vicky Brook, a mother whose life took a dramatic turn when she had to unexpectedly give up a six-figure executive salary and high powered job to care full time for her youngest daughter Florence.
Florence, now 16, has had complex medical and mental health needs since the age of just six weeks, while older sister Emily, 21, was diagnosed at 17 with Addisons Disease.
Over the years, Vicky has relied heavily on the help of Birmingham Children’s Hospital for support with Florence, Vicky is also very excited that the Dogs Trust are supporting the project, acknowledging the important therapeutic role that family dogs can have in times of distress, and in her search for ideas to give something back for all their hard work she hit upon the concept of an animated series starring their very own family dog Herbie.
“Dogs Trust is delighted to be teaming up with Herbie Hound. He has been an amazing companion and friend to Vicky and her children and demonstrates the bond between us and our dogs. The tale of Herbie will hopefully provide a happy distraction for hundreds of children whilst in hospital and bring a smile to their faces, just as it did ours.” –Hannah Baker, Dogs Trust
The series will be launched in London with the help of Pop Star Natasha Hamilton of Atomic Kitten who was touched by Vicky’s tale:
“I heard about Vicky’s story, and the inspiration behind creating this very special Herbie Hound character, it really struck a chord with me. When I saw the first animated episode I was blown away, it’s wonderful. I’m really pleased and excited to be asked to help with the launch and the series deserves to be a great success”
To launch Herbie Hound’s story, Natasha will be available for photo opportunity and interview at the Dorchester Hotel in London on the 16th April 11.0 am – 1.0 pm.
The animated series will also be accompanied by storybooks starring Herbie Hound on his many adventures.
All ten episodes of the new series will be available to purchase on the Herbie Hound website, shortly followed by the story books, with a percentage of the proceeds going to Dog’s Trust & Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
And with plans also underway for a merchandising range, these 10 Herbie Hound adventures are just the beginning!
