UK TOUR SUPPORT
Erland & The Carnival will be joining Wild Beasts as the main tour support for the March tour. Erland is Erland Cooper, guitarist, singer and former resident of remote Orkney, The Carnival are guitarist Simon Tong (The Verve, The Good, The Bad, The Queen) and drummer David Nock (Paul McCartney’s The Fireman). See myspace.com/carnival. Their self-titled debut album, released 25th January on Full Time Hobby.
They will be joined by Lone Wolf, a.k.a. singer and guitarist Paul Marshall, whose debut album "The Devil and I" will be out on Bella Union in May. The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed in last week's NME that Wild Beasts' singer Tom picked Lone Wolf's album out as one of his hot tips for 2010.
