About My Dad Rocks
Why is it that as we get older most people's musical tastes are stuck in the era of when they were in their early 20s? They are not interested in the new artists or think that they can't compare to bands from the past. It's a concept that John Peel couldn't understand. As he claimed that people still enjoy new films as they get older why not new music? Anyway, for those of you who can enjoy The Enemy, The Maccabees, White Lies as well as The Jam, Pink Floyd and Echo and the Bunnymen - this site is for you. Please feel free to send us comments, your own reviews and recommendations. Maybe later we can get a forum together and perhaps meet up at some gigs - I know I have problems getting somebody to join me at some events. Sadly my son who was my willing to come no longer thinks it's cool to be with your dad - even though his Birthday card said - My Dad Rocks!
